Out to College Day is a rite of spring at CCSC, and last week’s was our biggest ever, about 180 students in grades 9-11 boarded 7 buses to tour 20 colleges across the region. Each group visited several schools of different sizes and types to give students a better sense of the options available and the decisions they will need to make when the time comes to apply. For members of the junior class, this was the third Out of College Day, and but it was the first time some freshmen had taken an official college tour.
Thank you to all the student guides and admissions staff at the colleges we visited this year: University of Connecticut, Mitchell College, Connecticut College, Brandeis University, Framingham State University, Westfield State University, Elms College, Providence College, Rhode Island College, Brown University, Simmons College, Emmanuel College, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Mass. College of Art, Mass. College of Pharmacy, Wheaton College, UMass Dartmouth, Clark University, Worcester Polytechnic Institute and College of the Holy Cross.
