On Friday night, our newly established boys lacrosse team traveled to Parson’s Field in Brookline to participate in a clinic held by the men’s lacrosse team at Northeastern University. “It was a huge success, and our students benefited tremendously,” remarks CCSC Coach James Morin.
Coach Morin, a former assistant lacrosse coach at NU, says, “When we arrived at Parson’s Field the coaching staff at NU gave us a tour of their home field and talked to our students about hard work and perseverance. Afterward, we were introduced to the players at Northeastern and ran through a number of drills and game-like situations focusing on fundamentals for almost an hour. Finally, we watched the Northeastern team practice and had our very own Biondy Lisieux, Franklin Romero, and William Sanchez jump into a 6v6 scrimmage with the NU team. It was so inspiring for my team to see such a high-level of play up close.”
The CCSC team will play its first-ever game this Saturday (March 29) at 11 a.m. at Lynn Vocational.
